My name is Vendula Petrová and I am 21 years old. Currently I study first year on the Faculty of Arts (FaVU VUT) in Brno (the sculptor's atelier).

Drawing and art as such was my main hobby from my early age and this fondness for art accompanies me until now.

​

Back in 2013 I studied an english lyceum which I terminated after two years and started attending art school where I graduated in May 2019.

​

For now I'm getting ready for my future studies in the field of sculpture which is a subject I've always wanted to try. My favourite technique is molding. In the future I would like to gain enough experience to be able to create silicon prosthetics and statues for movies or game industry, whether realistic or fantasy.

 

I also enjoy writing metaphorical stories, essays and poetry and afterwards I try to illustrate them.

I would say that the subjects I draw the most are simply people and portraits of them. I always try my best to depict a person so that their unique features can stand out and - what is more - to capture their soul's aura.
