OSTRAVA - VÍTKOVICE

(charcoal series)

I created this series as a reaction to my trip to Ostrava and its industrial area called Vítkovice.

​

The whole landscape and many faded machines telling us countless stories impressed me so much I simply had to draw the scenes and make a whole cycle.

​

The final outcome is an article design for the newspaper.

Thanks to the previous series I continued in drawing this topic even for our final work
in school in May 2018. The topic was "Colour" so I had to leave my beloved charcoal and experiment with dust pastels.
